I have a base model 95, when I first start it up there will be no lights on my dash at all. But when I hit the brakes the whole back and jerks down hard.. after a few minutes the abs light will come on and the brakes will work fine. Anyone ever have this happen to them or know of a way I could fix it, I don't know anyone with an abs tester no even my tech school has one(the school sucks) and I dont feel like spending a bunch of money to have a shop fix it, anyone have any ideas?? Please help!!! Just the back end jerks down pretty hard though not the front, even if I press lightly it still does it.

Could be a bad valve body or solenoids on the rears, junk in the valve body (bad fluid or junk in the fluid),  pump gowing putting to much pressure on the rears.
See if you could find someone to scan it??

You should just unplug the wire connectors (2 ones on top) on the master cylinder for the time being so that you can safely stop till you get the problem fixed.
1991 Cavalier Z24- Racing seats, MSD wires, relocated MSD coils, 2.5" exhaust, ported exhaust manifolds, high volume oil pump, poly grafite front end, 92+ brake upgrade, drilled and slotted rotors, 1.5" lowering, 17" Klasse wheels...

Future Plans: 18's, paint, rear discs, more horsepower...
