Actually that mount is from a GM mini van.. we used a W body mount to mock it up though.

I got the idea when I was changing the oil in my 02 Montana. I like where the engine pull hook or whatever its called is on this one better than the W body one

The radiator support is flimsier than a croissant roll on these cars... why on earth would you want to put a mount to it? I just ate breakfast hence the croissant reference...

The funny part about what you just said there is that it originally started off as just redoing the topend on the quad and then it turned into this whole big project. it pisses me off that you sit here and make me look bad when all im doing is trying to help get this thing done. I helped with A LOT and this whole two inches crap better just stop. i move everything out of the way when you come over so that we will have room to work. i had TWO of my berettas towed because your car is in my garage. I have done nothing but try and make you happy with this and it is hard as hell to find time to work on your car when i have school and i need to make money on my own time. EVERY SINGLE TIME that you say the car wont be done or it being at my house is the worst decision of your life makes me regret more and more ever helping out with this car. When someone is doing their best to make your car work, dont stab them in the back and make everyone see me as a dick. THINGS TAKE TIME! i cant base my entire life around YOUR car and if it were in Sidney you would have a hell of a time getting an air compressor for the cutoff wheel and not to mention that I have a press at my house to do the control arm bushings. Im not trying to go off on you here but i just thought id show everybody what is actually going on. Up until last week, he never touched the car other than when James and I were there.
Keep in mind, my Z has been at his house since May. He was gone all month at his Moms in June but other than that he hasnt touched it hardly unless we were there.
Then there were times when he didnt tell us one of his buddies borrowed his stuff until we got there. One time we had to leave early because he didnt have a jack and another was because he didnt have a torque wrench. Both of those things he usually has but he didnt tell me he didnt have for when we were there. I could have easily grabbed mine from my garage and brought it with me if I would known.
Everytime I go to his house there is marks all over it people running their hands across the paint and rubbing against it walking by. Then he had his buddys car 2 inches from mine.. and now his red Beretta is next to mine. If it wasnt for his GTU mirrors folding you wouldnt be able to get between our cars in his garage.
No offense to Tyler.. but I cant stand my Z being like that. If it were here it would have my entire 2.5 car garage area just for it. Where its currently sitting you can barely walk by on the passenger side let alone open the passenger door.
Dont take this as hating on Tyler. I'm not at all. I understand everybody has their own lives and all.. just bothers me when people say this or that and agree to it and dont stick to it. Especially when you paid them (with parts) to help you out.
This is the 3rd summer in a row that the Z has been down during a majority of the summer. I am seriously tired of it.
When we are working on it, we arent pushing to the point of hating working on it. The worst day James and I had up there was this last Sunday. Tyler lives in the middle of no where and there is only one place that sells food and thats a local pizza place. We usually order from there but for some reason they were closed last Sunday so we worked all day without food but it could have been worse.
It really gets old driving 45-50 minutes to work on your car.

Yeah it did start off as just the topend on the Quad.. then when it became the "big project" swapping to V6 and all dont you remember me texting you dont start on the car yet?? I said before we tear the car apart to the extent we are going to, are you sure you have the space/time that it wont be in the way at your place? I asked you at least 3-4 times just to be sure.. I said it might be easier at my house and you said its no problem to be at your house. Blaming my Z being there for two of your cars being towed is not on me, thats why I talked to you about it as much as I did before we started on my Z. It was odd for me.. the times I was up there I can tell your dad was not happy about my car being there and I felt bad. Welcome to the party there. Ive got the same bracket for mine but I'm using a dogbone from an olds trofeo and building a custom upper support to withstand the thrashing. It's connected at the corners by 2 bars going to the strut towers like the INDY pacecar had. Also putting an "X" brace accross the front for added strength.

Definitely added for strength. I have the crossbars also but havent bolted them on yet. Not too many people here know what an F40 looks like right off the top of their head, especially when just seeing the shift linkage.
And your 3500 intake, all shiny and black, kind of detracts from the background too.

Here is one of my favorite parts.. I am using the factory shift knob, boot and trim ring from a 2013 Corvette ZR1. Not leather, Suede!

Wasn't meaning to put anyone down, but the F40 isn't really a common thing in relation to Berettas... I now know of two conversions being done on Berettas, and I have one, so...

Epic fail on me. F40=transmission code. .. ... ... . .... fml
