cure for overheating

Post by Guest »

Finally found a cure for my overheating problem (had switched to a 180deg thermo and added a remote switch for the fan, both helped a little) finally they came out with a better water pump. It has 6 tall impeller blades instead of the old OEM water pump that had 9 short blades and under $25, car finally runs cool even in slow heavy traffic

where did you purchase this pump?  My pump went out on my TODAY and I was just going to get the autozone factory replacement for $25.

most of the ones they're selling now will be that design, it's GM's "updated" version for the 60* V6, the same as the 3400 water pump.
