Now to Today..
Cleaned the Z up a bit..
My front bumper cover was PERFECT from the repaint last year.. but somehow has a nice sized scratch now for some reason..

Alex sent me a message today with a link to a Bonneville build.. the guy did a 6 speed swap.
He made this plate to have the G6 master cylinder attach to.. that way it could be bolted to the firewall.
I am going to try to see if H.B. Products can help me out by lasering that pattern out into a piece of sheet of metal.. then I can go from there to get the MC to bolt to the firewall.
I am kind of irritated about the axle situation.. I sent them the measurements of 14 1/4 for the drivers side and 14 3/4 inches for the passenger side.. The drivers side axle fits PERFECT.. The passenger side axle measures out to 12 inches. How can they screw up a basic measurement???
Anyways, now that I have to talk to RCV Performance and wait on them to get me a new axle... I definitely wont be able to have the car driveable before the snow comes.
Honestly I am kind of happy about that. I am going to take my time and get everything right the first time.

That sucks about the axle length -I still don't know why I had to shorten mine on the driver's side, I really wanted all of my parts to be direct bolt-in, so that was a little disappointing for me...
I think you made a good decision regarding the clutch master though, instead of going the route I did. Since everything you have is stock G-6 -like I was saying, I might have had problems caused by my G/A master- you definitely won't have any issues like that, provided you can do the mounting-plate you need. How much did the G-6 master set you back? In addition to the mounting plate, do you think you'll have to modify the firewall to accommodate the G-6 master? It looks larger than the stock Beretta clutch master's diameter...

I'm not sure if the G6 Master Cylinder will require modification to the firewall to get it to work or not yet. Right now I'm on a hunt for a used clutch pedal from a G6.. only reason is so I have if just in case I need parts from it

If you have the pedal you can find out the factory pedal ratio too and get that right.

Good news!!
I called the junkyard in New Jersey that I got the axles and Jackshaft from..
They are cutting out a piece of the firewall that the master attaches to (then I dont have to bother my uncle at HB to get a piece made) the clutch pedal, and the clutch master cylinder from that car.
AND they are taking measurements for me before they remove the master cylinder and clutch pedal from the car.
I think it would be better to use the junkyard master cylinder setup for mocking up so I dont accidentally mess up my new one..Lo

The guy at the junkyard sent me those pics.
Interesting tidbit... If you were 6 speed manual swapping another G6 .. that piece of the firewall UNBOLTS from the car. All you would have to do is bolt that piece in the picture in and your good to go.
Having that piece helps me out.. I can now mock everything up so I can make sure I know how much pedal travel and all that I need

I'm surprised the yard is that nice and is working with you on getting odd tidbits like this... some yards don't bother with parts like that.

I had too much going on and no time to keep up with this thread. I been posting everything on FB though..
Here are some updates from the last couple months..
Even after all the trouble I went through getting the 3.5 olds throttlebody.. after I found out its a pain to get the factory cruise to work with it (and I have to have cruise lol) I made a trip to Milzy Motorsports just down the highway from me and brought home quite a few goodies...
68 mm TCE tb and such..
We got it running but since the TCE tb has nothing for vacuum lines on it like the olds 3.5 tb did, I had to do something about it.. (note: we ended up using a smaller better looking fitting after I repainted the uim..)
Its a good thing I had to drill and tap the upper intake.. gave me a reason to repaint it and make it look nice again while it was removed.. (it had chips in the paint from people sitting tools on the damn thing)
Polished allenhead bolts on upper and valve cover

Now comes one of my favorite parts.. The gauges from Speedhut that I had the ZR6 logo put on..
Now wired in... I was super surprised to see that the ZR6 logo lights up also. Pictures done do these gauges justice lol.
