EYour are going to need well over 400 hp to reach into the 12's in a Beretta.
I'm going to have to disagree, it actually takes 328hp

I know its a cavy, but its still a 3400.

Cav is lighter, has a manual probably, but yes with a simalar setup you could easily get in the 12's. Even easier if you do a traditional turbo mount, as it behaves better than a RMT setup. He has alcohol injection too on that thing.

Basiscally on a 3400 the weakest part in the bottom is the pistons. Put some good strong ones in with a little lower compression and you're set for boost.

Theres a rumor going around that the rmt cavy guy blew the 3400, not sure if theres any truth to it or not.  Nonetheless, pushing that much power on stock internals will probably cause you trouble eventually.

Tuning and turbo setup are key to getting the most HP without knocking. That rear mounted turbo didn't even have a intercooler. I haven't seen one good turbo setup on a 3400 for a good comparison. Quality control is lacking at GM so there may be a big difference with the strength of these engines.
