Re: My sad day
Thanks Koots. All I can do is try and try I will, sure hate to give up. My mind is open to another car. Getting my rebuilt trans out and into another car may be a problem.
Damn, didn't know your car had been bottemed out. Tacking a patch for those holes will be fun!
Watch out for Moogs, they are a bit stiff, even with stock style shocks/struts.

I won't be driving anywhere in the car without a toolbox and some random fluids and parts. My old Civic used to barely have room for anything in the trunk with my old toolbox in it. I could stuff some fluid bottles around it and a jug of coolant could fit in as well.
So I think the Moogs might be right up my alley, I'll see how it drives when I finally get it back on the road though.

Re: My sad day
I use to drive very fast in my 90GT with Moog springs just so I could get out sooner. I you like a butt beating ride then they are great. As a side note I had Moog control arm bushings, swaybar endlinks, etc.. You may be able to get away with Monroe Reflex(I had plus), but Sensa craps do make the ride better. The problem is they don't react fast enough. My rear tire was still in the air after hitting one pot hole and then another. That to me gave the danger of the rear sliding out(if you hit pot holes on each side at the sametime). The struts felt like an old 70's Caddy and would float in a slow bounce(very slow). Never tried them on a gravel road, I thought the car could just fly right off or hop.
