welding !!!! All rear sub accessories/suspension brackets welded and rear sub welded together ......still soooooo much more to do!!!!!!!

hahaha thanks guys .... obviously i tried to photograph the better looking ones of the bunch.........the thick steel welds like butter....... plus the miller 211 is a beast.......best machine ive used....

Actually set up the front and rear frames next to each other for the first time on the surface plate/welding table.....square and level to each other.........soon they will be one

Is that triangular kickup going to blend well to the floor pan?
On the LS swaps I have seen in 68-72 A-bodys look terrible because they put in this gargantuan trans tunnel not leaving much room seats/console/etc.
Its starting to come together! You going to plate up those open ends?

yeah i will seal up all the box ends.......gonna start adding the gusset plates spanning all the butt welds soon too.......the tunnel bump will encroach into the interior but only because i didnt want it to encroach into the tunnel space at all.... for obvious driveshaft clearance.......keep in mind no interior stuff is going back in carpet, trim, etc....and i will prob be making custom seat brackets to put the racing seats back in.......
