k&n type filter(will it help)

Want to know how to get more out of your Beretta? Or have a mod you would like to share?

on a 1990 quad 4 ho will a open air filter like a k&n or the like help performance any also octane boost, does it do any good.... i do run premium it already.. i can get 100 octane unleaded from the pump.... but i don't want to tear it up........what do yall think

You don't need the octane boost.

The K&N will help.  I would make a kit to get the air from a cool place.

Yeah, if you're already running premium that's good enough fuel for it.  I would look at an intake of some variety, and some exhaust work for sure.  The quad loves to breathe, so give it some love.

It'll add an immeasurable amount of power (in the orders or 1/4's of a HP) but your car will sound faster because the K&N lets more noise thru.

As well, they're "rechargeable" so you don't have to throw it out.
