Where does this vacuum line go?
1988 GT with 2.8 full stock. Off the back of the intake are two hoses, one to the MAP and AC the other was plugged by a mechanic and thus goes nowhere. It is larger than the map and NOT part of the throttle body vacuum block or the PVC valve, it is off the intake (or mounted to it). Checked vacuum diagrams and they do not indicate this line. It is not the Cruise system as that is working fine. What is it?

Where does this vacuum line go?
im not sure about the 2.8s but the 3.1s have a vacuum line on the rear passenger side of the intake that has a rubber cap over it, its not needed.

Where does this vacuum line go?
Of course a pic would help, but my camera is in another state. Arrrgh! Never have when you need it i guess.
As to the theory of it being an unused line I highly doubt that as it is 3 inches long and has a bolt stuck in it.
Definately is not the brake booster as I have vacuum assist on that.
Not sure on the evap canister and will check tomorrow when it is light out. Seems an awfully large line for that tho.
Thanks for the ideas.

If it's a rubber hose it goes to a vacuum check valve by the firewall where it splits off in two directions.
