Your 3.1 indy wont be such a direct swap, but it's doable. check out the other links in the other threads I posted.

sorry about the long time answering. no sorry no pics yet i'll get to em tho.. i've been busy with a new toy lol.  converting a 84 z28 to a 350 tpi with a six speed. should be fun. i'll try and get some of those pics on here. anyway if anyone lives in northeast pa and would like to look or even possibley buy the beretta let me know. i'll think about it if the offer is right anyway a little update other then the damned p0441 code everything is fine. ses lights are annoying.

I have a 96 also. To wht96 what sensors did you have to swap? I know the oxygen sensor is one. Any other sensors?

I read the 3400 swap page about 14 times. Why do you have to cut the extra stud off? Is it because it gets in the way?

That mounting boss on the timing cover is what you're referring to.  With the older style belt routing, the belt will rub the timing cover without trimming that down a little bit.
