Well, Ive followed this site over the past few years but nvr bothered to sign up till now. Im a huge beretta fan and have owned a Dark Garnet red 90 GTZ quad4 HO and as well as my new ride here my 87Z24 ( not many left)
This is how it currently sits: 2.8L MPFI auto, SRI, magnaflow exhaust, Z26 wheels, h4 sealed beam conversion, s-10 clear bumper lights, tinted taillights, sprint drop springs, RP motor oil, K&N filters...more to come including possible 3.94:1 5spd and w41 spec quad4 ( I really, really miss the RPMS LOL)

This here's a shot with the 17" motegi MR4's I had ( they looked a lil too big on the car, but the yoko's were super sticky:

92 GTZ : QUAD4 H.O. 180HP, royal purple oil, K&N filters, iridium plugs, 2.5" side exit exhaust with magnaflow muffler, gutted trunk and rear seat, 3.94:1 tranny.

Your paint looks to be in super condition.  Is the GFX a very dark grey?  I like the Z26 wheels better.  I'd take that silver Z24 badge off if it were mine.  I vote for 5 speed with the V6

yeah, the paints in good shape, but it will need a repaint soon enough. The badges will be coming off in the spring I hope. The v6 is torquey, but really lacks the top end pull that I love so much. I still have my factory 5 spoke z24 aluminum wheels as well. The entire car is quite original and needs only one or 2 things here or there. It has a pretty rare vinyl interior and its not rusted out, but has one or 2 spots that need attention   ( hence the repaint.) Glad you like the z26 rims too.

You need a 3400, but I understand the love for the Quad4.

everyone else has 3400 LOL...( sweet as$ motor though and an easy swap) If I was gunna do v6 though It'd be a 3800S/C series 1 or 2 and Id keep it an auto. I had a late 80's lesabre with a 3800 I bought to swap into the Z and it had low miles, but I had it parked out back on the street with no plate and the damn cops towed it away LMFAO!! Its not even worth the impound fees to get it back though. I miss the quad4 and Im hoping in 2008 the motor/tranny swap can become a reality. I think I might just find a whole donor car that got hit in the rear or something ( makes it easier). The Z as of right now has 360,000kms on it. Hard to believe.

Steph is selling a "race" W41 with 13.5:1 compression.  Sounds like a good engine to run E85 in...

actually, Im trying to build a mini truck right now to have road ready around summer time. I havent found a good candidate yet up here. I want an 85 0r 86 nissan 720 pickup. Its getting notched in the rear and adding air bags to it as well. So as much as I want to do the quad4 thing this spring, it'll have to wait till next spring.   ( lack of funds$$$$) But hot damn I cant wait!!. Its gunna be N/A though ( no boost) but I'll add a few goodies on her ( TRS header, w41 cams & chip & UD ps pulley, A/C delete, CAI, possible big TB) Any estimate on power output with those mods?? Plus the 1st gen Z24's are super light ( close to 2600lbs)
