hi all just introducing myself

Post by Lost Soul »

hi everybody im new to this group but i have been reading the forum posts for a few weeks now,, and im looking to build a 96 beretta with a 3400/3500 hybrid with a added turbo system but its gonna be an automatic

why do you ask ? automatic and not manual ... well thats because ive always preferred automatic and even though i can drive a manual,, im required by law on my license to only use automatics due to my disability.

so far im still learning, i wont lie i dont know much about being a mechanic but im learning,,

well i know its all a work in progress, and ill try my best to document my progress..

well ttyl

if you are going turbo, automatic is the way to go.

Welcome to the site! You're in THE right place for a 3400 hybrid as there's a few members here who can hook you up with knowledge. On the turbo as well. Keep us updated! Got any pics of the car you're planning to convert?

thanks,, well i dont have the 96 yet,, but i do have a 95 but it only has a 2.2L in it,,  so to avoid complications with motor mounts and trannys,, im just gonna get a 96 with a 4 speed tranny and a 3100 in it,, then rebuild the tranny and put in a 3400 turbo

well thats the plan any ways,, so far i have found a car,, but its like 5 and a half hours away from me,, i live in a small town on the east coast  not many people there so its slim pickin  lol

I actually know where you can pick up a V-6 GTZ with no reverse in the tranny for very cheap. Not sure where you're at ,but it's only an hour from where I'm going in NC. I'll be there Wed. Here ya go:

Now....who's your new best forum friend? LOL!
It's in Goldsboro.
Best part? It's already an auto AND it's classier looking than a '96!!
