3800sc top end

Post by will3387 »

i was just wondering if the 3400 top end with the sc would work right on my 3.1. i know that the 3400 top end alone will fit but with the sc will it be any different.

Yes the L67 heads, cam, lower intake, and upper intake all bolt on to your 3.1 block.

Then you don't know much at all!

They are not even the same engine family!

With all the work involved in swapping a 3400 top end onto a 3100, you would really have a hard time convincing me it is worth it over a complete low mileage 3400 complete swap.

For the most part 3400's are plentiful in most areas (www.car-parts.com) and it might even end up being less expensive.
