If you think you're broke now, just wait til you try to get that engine in the car and running.

Selling that engine, using that money to buy a 3400 or 3500 would be a much easier, and in the long run, better idea.

off topic, but have you done any recent body work on it? Last I saw it was kinda a light green, black evo hood, custom tails... list goes on. You also have the most badass fenders I've ever seen. I would certainly like more pics if you're willing... please

On the topic... you're probably better off going 3400/3500 as everyone else had said.

tell that to the gn guys  remember those heads where on the tubro trans am. So i dont think them motors are junk. And the motors are not that much heavier. You can also use alot of valve train parts from a sb in this motor. If he has the motor and depending on what it came out of this might not be that bad of a swap.
the man you need to talk to is the that has done the series one swap. I can't remember his name but the car is yellow

they dont sound like crap they sound like a turbo 3.8

People say the same about syclones and typhoons with the turbo 4.3.

I think it's cooler to have the bite worse then the bark.

Let me put it like this Guy. While most of the opinions on this board ARE educated and experienced opinions, in the end, it's YOUR car. So do what makes you happy. The guys are just trying to help you out from past experience, but I understand a budget. Do what makes you happy AND fits your budget. I wish you all the best of luck and expect LOTS of pics and/or video of progress, lol.

Actually I think I'd probably say that about any 90° V6. 3.0, 3.3, 3.8, 4.3...

Not to mention the whole odd-fire thing.

Good advice.  I don't want to tell you what to do or not to do, but I will say that the 3500 will be cheaper, easier, faster to swap, faster as is dropped in, better on fuel economy, easier to work on... don't you need to move the radiator forward to fit that 90 degree in there??  I like those engines(1997+), but they aren't simple answers for an upgrade on berettas.
