Bfest Registration

Post by 3X00-Modified »

Ok well I'm planning on having my g/f come with me, and it has come to my attention that it wouldn't be a bad idea to bring both of my cars for a safety net... Now I registered as 1 driver 1 passenger and paid for that... do I need to send an extra 10 bux even though the 95 base most likely wont be attending the car show or drag way events...

And should I do a second registration for the 95 on the site??

Just curious.

No need to send any extra money.

But you can send me some if you like.

Correction...  You will need to register the second car.  I know it won't be taking place in any of the extra curriculars, but that is not the purpose of the registration fees to begin with.  It is to fund the picnic food, all of the trophies, and the banner...  along with other costs that we could incur.  I would contact Cliff Scoot, our registrar, and hash out the details.  His email is on the registration site.  I would imagine that you will only need to send the additional $10, plus register the second car.  If you have any further questions please bring them up with me or Cliff personally.  Thanks!

If he is NOT attending any of the events (TMP) or the Carshow/BBQ with the second car, and it is simply for back-up transportation, why does he have to register it, as long as there are no further people involved, and his passenger is already paid for?

That doesn't seem right. Unless I'm missing something.

The fact that it just happens to be a Beretta shouldn't matter.

It's only $10 granted, but I'm lost on this one.

I have already spoken to Jon and this issue is resolved at this point.  Simply- if everyone who didn't race or put their car in the car show got off for free, we would lose a ton of money every year.  There are more people who do not enter their cars into these events than there are that do...  We just need to be uniform here.  If you have any other comments or questions, feel free to bring them up to me on PM or email.

I can completely understand where he is coming from on this, It's a beretta, this is a beretta fest, and even being a backup car they don't want to start a trend that can get out of hand and result in lost money.

BUT issue resolved, hopefully.. I registered the car under Amy, and sent payment for the 10 extra and shirts she wanted, so hopefully you got that and understood the comment in my payment.

Plus it's only 10 bux... if that helps toward the picnic I have NO problems with that at all.

Jon,

I did see the comment in the registration for the second car.  I forwarded your email(s) to both Chad and Cliff, so they should be up on it.  Thanks again for bearing with us as we worked through this!
