Solid GTZ/Z26 Grill

Post by SuzukiGhostRider »

I would like a z26/gtz grill. It needs to be gouge free for the most part. I'm not talking about rock chips in the paint as I will be sanding it smooth and painting it anyway. I'm talking about gouges or chunks outta the plastic itself. Please let me know if you have one and what you're looking to get for it. Thanks.

My local yard has them.  I think they charge $20.  I will be happy to go pull one for you.

Should just be a phillips screwdriver if I remember correctly. I didn't pull this one. It was already off the car. I would take a small socket set and a flathead screwdriver too just to be safe.

IIRC 7mm socket on the top three bolts, and I forget what size is used on the inner bracket bolts.  Those might be just screws but I don't remember.

I got two off practicing.  Not good enough for your terms-deep dents.  However I am headed to another pick and pull.  If they have a good one-and its cheap Ill buy it for you and post pics.

Curious, were the top three 7mm?  And how were the lower brackets attached?  Just wanted to know for future reference.

not sure bout the top sizes... but i know theres clips on the bottom that hold the bottom of the grill in wich will be needed, and they are also taken off with a wrench, if your anything like me, when i went i was with my buddie and just browsed around the gm section quick, found a solid grill and only had a needle nose, did the job very well actually.... so if you still need the grill, i would trade you for something.
the z26 is on the road!
