Wait a sec, that's not the Z26's engine!

My beater/daily driver 97 Grand Am developed a rod knock Friday night... since the car is rusting out, has no functional AC, has 158K on the original engine/trans, we decided to get rid of it and get something else.

Found this car in Grand Rapids, MI on Autotrader... low mileage (27K), all the options I wanted, and none that I didn't (I didn't want a rear spoiler). And it was rust-proofed, so there shouldn't be too many problems with rust on this car. Oh, and it was babied, did I mention that?

Anyways, on to the pics of my new car: 2005 Subaru Legacy GT LTD 5spd Manual

Nice find. I realy like those cars, they sound mean too.

Have you driven it yet? Is it faster than the burrito?

This is a 14.0 second car (13.7 by some).

Definitely faster than the Burrito... for now.

Nice, definite upgrade from the GTP too.  Don't let the dogs ride in this one either!

I've never seen one at night, I like the way the whole dash setup lights up!  Can't wait to see it.

well geoff, you keep getting all the cars I want. Shame on you, though when your donw with them you could just drop them off at my place and I wouldnt be offended.

I have wanted one of those just like yours minus the kool ever since they first came out. I think they look great, lots more classy than a sti. I bet Id even like your wife with the way our tastes are similar in cars and houses. You wanna just leave her in one of the cars

That looks "KOOL" however the lack of the rear spoiler does cause some concern.

I'm told by my Import friends that it's worth upwards of 75 WHP.

And at times they are the only friends I have

I heart Subarus. They have great reliability ratings and are often what I consider one of the auto industry's best-kept secrets.
