Custom Euro Tail Light Project

Post by RaNDoMxGeSTuReS »

Alright guys so I'm really tired of my stock tail lights. I want something nice and fun and flashy. My pal tossed some sick Euros on his MX-3 and well I liked the look so I wanted some on mine. Too bad no one sells any that I know of so I'll make my own.

As far as the Euros looking only good im imports well I've seen a lot of domestic cars with them around town and they don't look too bad (i.e. Mustang, Impala, Focus etc.)

I'm gonna use the basic template off of bstuff.com.

Hopefully the end result will look something like this.

But to be safe I ordered a tail light off ebay so I don't have to use my own. The local junkyard charges around $60 a tail light so $25 on ebay (with shipping) sounded good. Yet I don't know which side I'm getting. The ad said right tail light.. then below left tail light    go figure.

Looks like I'll work on one for now and see how it goes. Just waiting the some week for the product to ship. Pretty sure I'm gonna use trailer lights to make the red circles and some really heavy duty glass expoxy.

Hope it'll look like this--

I'm just waiting to receive the single tail light in the mail. Any advice from you guys in the mean time will be much appreciated

I wouldn't do it period.

Those home-made tails look terrible on Beretta's.

If you want something different, go with the REAL European style tails.

I'm throwinging in the towel folks. I got the tail light in the mail today. I took it apart and got the reflectors out. Putting in trailor lights was beyond me I'm just gonna stick with clear tail lights and probably find some red bulbs.. or something..

Any advice on where I can get them?
