Electrical wiring

Post by Beretta Z26 »

I'm not sure if this is where this topic should be posted but if it needs to be moved itz kool, Any way as most of you know i'm pulling my motor out. I've decided it'll be cheaper to go back with a 3100 thats in it, so my question is if i take those three plug in's off the fire wall close to the blower box, besides other hoses is that the only wires that would have to be disconnected to drop the cradle and the motor?
Thanx for your help!

just look around the motor, very simple to do.  Please stop asking simple questions or they will be deleted.

Electrical wiring

It's no more expensive to run a 3400 versus a 3100.  A '96-'99 will basically be a drop-in replacement.  '00+ will require a little changing with the injectors.

Well Im not going to bash you or tell you to put in a different engine but I will tell you that If you do just only unplug those three things you chance that you damage the engine harness.  But I dont think you can even do that. There is a plug that is on your left side that is also connected to your firewall and then you have plugs going to your headlights.  id say there is only maybe 20 sensor/plus on the engine compare to 70.  Plus like i say you might hurt it. Id take the safe road. Just my .02
