Will 1996 3100 heads fit 2002 3400
I have a question for you about 3400 motor. I have a 1996 chevy beretta z26 with a 3100 motor and the cam snapped. Can I install a install heads from my 1996 3100 berettta motor and install on a 2002 alero 3400 motor. I think the heads are different, just thought I would ask and see if you could help me out. I plan on installing the 2002 alero motor then in my 1996 chevy beretta, there would be no problems to worry about is there. Any information would be great. Thank you....

Yes, the heads will interchange. They are also different. It would be much more advantageous to use the 3400 heads and intakes over your existing 3100 parts.

Not to mention the plenum on the '02 flows significantly better around the throttle body area.
