Just cause its not tunable doesn't mean you cant trick it and knowing information like pulse width and KR along with how it responds to certain inputs is very helpfull. Testing different Intake setups is easily tracable with datalogging also.

Re: New 2nd gear for 4T60e?
Rockers, as in rocker panels, as in open the door look below the hinge, rusted through. As in F***K need a new beretta to swap the goods into. I'd love to find a rust free 92-93 5spd and just swap in a motor and turbo it. Less work than finding a 94-96, swapping 5spd and swapping motor then turbo. I'd like a Z04 kit though.
I'm thinking the vibration is my clutches chattering in the trans. Last night it wasn't as fast as it was in the day, and it was a colder out. But it was vibrating/chattering/shaking like a bitch when WOT... It shakes a little at around 2 grand in 2nd gear when under load.
That or I have a bad injector or coil pack causing miss-fires.. and the vibration is the trans hitting the subframe due to sagging mount or the downpipe hitting the sway bar. I plan to check clearances tomorrow for those items. It just feels like the power is not getting to the ground.
Engine sounds great though, can't hear it running since the timing chain replacement. Whisper quiet. Muffler is breaking in and getting quieter now. But it's got a nasty rasp at WOT all of a sudden.

Re: New 2nd gear for 4T60e?
Oh, guess I've been lucky. I had the 90 for 12 years of DD and there was no rust in that area. The 95 doesn't have any yet(I keep checking). The fuel door just started rusting though. I feel like the power is not getting to the ground to. Did you see that nice Z26 on here for sale for 800 bucks? It's too far away though! I know I have a bad mount, but I did plan to change it when the trans is swaped. If the dang thing would ever show up. My help will be out of town if I get it next week. If I had a job when the timing chain cover was fixed I would have had the chain replaced.
I must agree with Wicked, a little info is better than none at all. Do to my new OS I can no longer save data after it's logged(or graph). As for it's use, you would end up spending alot of money to get a very basic tune. I see a use for both, one is better than the other. I have said too much, I will not talk about this anymore. Please start a new topic and talk about it there.

Sorry I came off like a jerk. It is my fault that we started talking about tune. I will try to watch what I post from now on in a topic that is not about tuning.

Well, the trans is here. Something fell on it when it was shipped. The trans and the converter took a hit(both are going back).

The company said they will send a new trans and converter. I'll have to wait a few weeks to get them. Nothing ever goes right for me.

Wow, there isn't even a selector in it? WTF? Or did it get bashed in by what fell on it.

Looks like the shaft broke about two inches from the top. Where the selector is now is anybodys guess.

Re: New 2nd gear for 4T60e?
I'm greatful at the fact that I know how to rebuild one of these so I can go pick up a low mile one at a JY and deliver it myself knowing it wont get damaged by irresponsible delivery boys.
To be quite honest the delivery system we have today and the ass holes they employ make that the BIGGEST issue in any business relations... And they do everything possible to not take responsibility which is BS since they are the ones delivering it.
Just think of how much money would be saved for EVERYONE including them, if they were just a little more careful with the packages and went just a TAD slower.

I have an update, they came and got the trashed tranny today. I still don't have the new one yet.
I hope I get it soon and get it in before the cold and rain sets in.

Ok here is what happened. They fired the guy I bought the trans from and they lost track of my trans. Three calls later they said that it would be shipped on Monday and the converter would be with it. I also had them change the VSS to 29.

The new converter. It has FD4B or FD9B on it(I can't read if it's a 4 or a 9).
