P&P work, I need some done

Post by SuzukiGhostRider »

Ok guys, so I called a machine shop I trust in Albuquerque , and they said they could do all the work I'm needing done except for P&P. They also said NO ONE in the whole city does P&P, just a "form of it", wth that means.

So , I need to know if anyone on here does or knows someone who does reliable P&P work? This will be for an 086 head and an HO intake mani. Thx.

Anyone? Sending out of state, across country or w/e is fine. Turnaround time doesn't have to be a week either. This is a fall/winter project. I'm building the heck outta my W41 with Eagle H beams, Ross forged pistons, copper headgasket, etc. I just need a QUALITY job done professionally. Any tips appreciated. Thx.

Well if everyone didn't Bull crap on Bshit and actually input some info over here then maybe you would get some answers. Also Barry is correct for some good quality P&P work I would hit up a Quad 4 specific forum. I go to 60* when I need engine info and I go here to find out Beretta info, or post it.

spending hundreds of hours and more than 1 cylinder head to get a port style right is normal so you are best to go to someone well versed in 086 heads than to go to the in town porting place. I'd even ship it accross the country if needed.

Agreed. That's why I was inquiring. As to the Quad specific site, I actually posted there as well as here,Bstuff and a few places. Believe it or not, I actually got my best info from the Bstuff site , courtesy of Kurt. I agree, on shipping it. I'm willing to ship ANYWHERE in the US as long as the work is done and done right and professionally. And actually after chatting it over with someone helping me out on my project, it's been decided an extrude hone is the better route to go for my build. It's going to cost me a tad more than a good P&P but will give greater benefit.
