I had issues with the headliner. It was a little brittle so I stiffened it up stapling cardboard to it and glued the headliner fabric to it. The fabric stuck, but the headliner flaked apart, so I ended up with the fabric holding together a bunch of little headliner pieces. Is there some way I could add fiberglass resin to the fiberboard so it will stay together. I hit the local yard that had a great looking headliner out of a 91 so I took it out and it had the same issue, and it wasnt worth bringing home.

I did grab the b-pillar trim pieces so I can do a quick install of my extra door handles and those trim pieces to see how the gloss black looks. All flat window trim looked good with clear windows, but now the tint has me wondering if it would look better glossy black. The other day in the rain it looked pretty damn good.

Headliner is just extra weight... what are you building over there a daily driver or something?

hahaha

The problem is the roof is teal = gay! Today I'm glad I dont have the headliner up because the sunroof pissed on me. Must need a tiny bit of adhesive where the break is in the weatherstripping. I assume it is supposed to have one seam because it is a clean cut right where the latch is. Kinda stupid though, considering the trunk and doors have no seam.

Oh and everyone will be pissed to know I ordered two larger SS badges for the doors and a roll of flat black vinyl. I also got a small section of red tint for my front turns. I'll rice this thing out yet!

It's a factory original sunroof, right? If so, make sure all those drain lines are clear!

I'm surprised you found a headliner for one with a sunroof.

Put black little dots all over the teal roof and you will be just like me

Yeah... just like I said. Gay!

The headliner I found in the yard was for one without a sunroof. I cut a big hole in my 95 headliner and it seemed to be ok? I actually need a headliner from a sunroof car?

Tint made it look MUCH better :)

My sunroof seal had a seam, but it was already glued together when I got it.

Needs body-color wheels now. I found a set of GTZ wheels locally I just need to pull from the yard to fit my studded snow tires. I'm going to paint them and the 17s both. An all-gray "GTZ" should look sweet. Way better than the Z24 wheels I've been slumming in the winter.

I still can't believe you think this car will survive the salt... It's still gonna eat away at it... just from the inside this time.

Budget: house or winter beater. Which would you decide?

It seems kinda dumb for me to have $25 or 30k wrapped up in two cars, and drive a POS beater for half the year instead.

Woody I would be afraid to drive the thing in the winter.

It's now a target! LOL.

Find a beater Corsy, Cavy or something, NO?

Oh and cut down that antenna. About roofline height still works fine and looks a hell of alot better.

I've been looking for a cheap pickup, but the best deal I've found for a 4WD is still $4000. A 2WD truck is worthless in the winter.
