3.1 Turbo?
I really want to put a turbo on my stock 3.1 but I'm not sure what i should be really looking for. Can anyone give me any advice on what I would need to buy?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
P.S.- I am looking at this one but I'm not sure if it would work and/or what else I would need to hook it up if i bought it.

You want to spend some time over at the 60DegV6 forum. There's a thread dedicated to boosting your V6.

Re: 3.1 Turbo?
Well my first advice would be to buy a turbo book. I have "maximum boost". You will get a lot of neg. response if you ask a question like this. Just an FYI. Also there have been some guys on here who have had already done turbo setup. Try looking for that in the search area. It's not as easy as a bolt on ready to go setup.

Re: 3.1 Turbo?
This is awesome you want to keep the 3.1.
I am in the process of installing a turbo on my 3400 GTZ. Custom pipes have been the most work. If you are doing it all yourself you save a buttload of money. If you buy a kit you could be spending upwards of 3500.00. In that case you should just replace the 3.1 with the 3400.
If i'm not mistaken there is a user here who has a turbo 2.8/3.1 that was stock. Look him up and start searching for Turbo Grand Prix.

Re: 3.1 Turbo?
I'm gonna keep the 3.1. I already spent alot of money just to get it to run, it wouldn't really make sense to take it out now. Im putting a CAI, bigger cam, and a high flow cat & exhaust in it soon, and maybe a performance chip, but I have heard that they are just a waste of money.
