Thinking about selling my Z26
Thinking about selling my Z26
hey guys, thinking about selling my Z soon, putting a feeler out to see if anyone would be interested.
1995 White Z26
Blue interior with gray dash (blue dash was in rough shape, swapped dash out of donor car from 5 speed swap)
127,000 miles on original 3100 engine, taken very good care of, lower intake gaskets done at 118,000 miles. 180 degree t-stat
New radiator installed when intake gaskets were done
A/C system has been eliminated. only part remaining in the car is the evaporator for obvious reasons.
5-speed swapped with solid aluminum trans mounts
Transmission has about 210,000 on it, shifts perfectly, no grinds
SPEC stage 4 clutch installed at 118,000 miles
stock flywheel
fiero shifter (has threads on it and is slightly shorter than stock shifter)
polyurethane passenger side upper engine mount
polyurethane passenger side lower dog bone
subframes are from a 92 5 speed car (my donor car for the swap)
cold air intake
2.5" mandrel bent custom made exhaust, sounds beautiful
AEM UEGO Wideband gauge
battery relocated to trunk
car has 5 spoke motegi wheels, powdercoated black. tires are Eagle F1's with about 60% tread left. You can kind of see the car and wheels in my avatar picture
also, have everything needed to do OBD2 swap, just never got to it.
also have a half built 3400 engine, lower end is put together with diamond pistons, .030" over, 10:1 compressor. ring lands moved down on pistons for boost/nos/FI in general. engine just needs a cam and all the gaskets, have heads and intake manifolds. ARP rod bolts. have ARP head studs.
Asking $3800 for everything. pistons were $937 alone, i bought them before wot-tech started selling them.
car is in body shop right now, having some minor things fixed, will post pictures when i get it back (which should be by the end of the week)

10:1 is not recommended for boost.

Put 3500 heads on it then you'll have better CR for boost/nitrous... Oh and 10:1 is fine if you have strong head gaskets and you know how to tune. My cousin runs 14:1 on his S-10 and hits it with a 200 shot of nitrous.
