Good luck! Better know how to weld and be able to strengthen the doghouse, etc. Not to mention some space fabrication, transmission alignments, special made axles, etc, cause you are going to need it. But it will fit. Barely.

Probably easiest to raid the parts from a '93 Grand Am 3300 if you're really set on doing this.

I Can weld so that's no problem and not to worried about gettin parts to work on it once I get started on this project I'm determined to get it done my beretta needs a good motor in it cuz the one that's in it keeps over heatin for no reason I have had shops look at it and they don't know why so ill just put the 3800 in it and work on the 3.1 that is in it rite now

your better off doin more of a direct swap of 3500 or 3400 and save yourself time and money as their is many documents supporting them and many have done the 3800 swap wouldnt do it again

It makes less power than a 3400 and the same as a 3100. Why would you ever do the extra work for less power?

^^^WELL SAID^^^

It always befuddles me when someone comes on here looking for advice, then totally ignores the comments of the folks who actually know what they're talking about, and actually have the best running cars.

Poor GTZ. Irreparably butchered for an antiquated piece of junk that is heavier and makes less power than readily available engines that will pretty well drop right in.

It certainly would never be considered a Performance Mod.

But it's your car I suppose.
