Post by Emil Haverick »

:runsies: :sparta: ok i would like to ask if the guys on this forum can give me a lead on this part here is my web site that has the drawing of what i need http://mysite.verizon.net/vze13z38w/blank/ i need the scoop and generator cap. I am looking for parts 3 and 4 of the cooling system for a Beretta 1966 this system was used on all 3100 engines for Pontiac Chevrolet, Oldsmobile it brings in cool air from the underside of the hood to the back of the generator thus keeping the generator diodes cool this system was used on GM L body cars. I am looking for either part. If you have it please Email me at Emilhaverick@hotmail.com or leave a message at 1-973-393-2337

Best bet would be to get them from a junkyard. Achieva's, Grand Am's, Skylarks, Corsicas and Beretta's have them. Ordering from GM is possible, but good luck.

For a Beretta/Corsica I know it only came on 96's

I have two but I'm not sure if I want to part with my second one quite yet... Its still actually installed on my other car.

The N-bodys got them from 96-98 model years.

Just call a local yard, or try www.car-part.com

The website won't have that part listed because of how it's setup, so you'll have to call the yard to see. Or just go junkyard hunting on a day off, that's the best way to find minor parts like that which aren't usually inventoried.

Ok this is now getting very helpfull, since i can now look up the models pictures for the years that the item came on the car, so i can spot by site those cars in a yard, next i would like to ask, about my driver seat, the entire interior is clean except my seat over the years has become tatered, how about a source for seat foams, and new skins or reproductions, the interior is a light blue, exterior artic blue. thank yoy Emil

best bet is to find a clean interior and grab the passenger seat and swap the foams and covers over.
