Those are flat on the top, right? Should be easy enough to do.

Make them look kinda like this:

That's exactly what I want, and yes there is a wonderful flat spot on the top.

I haven't looked all that hard but now that I have it on and it doesn't leak (You have to mess with the gasket land a bit) I want to get it done.

NO A-FART!

It's a black PCV with a black end on the Braided line.

And the paint doesn't match because I didn't have time to clear the UIM.

But it's all getting re-done for NE, if in fact I bring it.

Right now I'm leaning towards bringing the Quad.

Oh, is it a Summit AN fitting like I did my Camaro with? I kinda like that better than the plastic crap I have. I was thinking about converting to EVAC rather than PCV though....keep all the crankcase crap out of the intake!

That is the next change I think. I too am not all that thrilled with all that crap going back through the intake, and then just put a breather on the rear (right now there is nothing in the rear).

It was a factory option in the old style (87-90) and for one year with the new style (91). The Z seats I have were never available in black. I got custom upholstery. There are more pics in this thread somewhere, but it's probably 20 pages back. haha

I also pulled all the fuel injectors and not a single one leaked with the 60psi air compressor test...so I still have yet to find the source of my rich problem. I would have it back together running right now if I didnt have to wait for an injector o-ring from Napa tomorrow. I tried a 3100 injector o-ring and it's just a tiny bit smaller than a Multec-2 o-ring...enough to leak when I tested it with the key.

I got my Autoprom the other day though, so I can start to tune it myself. I've been in touch with SuperDave going over possible reasons why my car could be different than the 40+ that are running on that same memcal he sells. Haven't really found anything yet.

14.6 @ 93 MPH!

MAYBE!

$3000 puts you in the 13's. (I have the AMEX bills to prove it!)

Rodney knows this tune and he keeps wanting to mess with it!

I just sit back and let him do whatever he wants, BUT I don't trust him on messing with the shift light! :Yahoo!:

Old man, I trapped 93mph with this engine attached to a stupid auto with 2.93 gears, log manifolds, and a stock throttle body...it will be better than that this time around!

JB Weld is the crap, guys. Yes that is what I used. And no, I didnt have access to anything better. A TIG would be nice, but from what I read, TIG welding cast aluminum is not for a novice. And I found countless people who had success with JB Weld doing the same thing I was doing.

I don't plan on forced induction, so I wont get laptop warnings about blowing the JB Welds on my intake!

i suppose if you let it cure properly the JB won't go anywhere. i used JB along with clamps when i got the flowmaster years ago and i couldn't get the pipes off the muffler a few weeks after i put it on. was trying to put different tips on.

all i did with that was paste it on the pipe before i slid it in the muffler.

Don't get me wrong i have used my fair share of JB Weld. I would be afraid of it coming loose and getting sucked into my engine.

I tried the gorilla super glue on an old UIM that i had which cracked from the un-even spacers i had before and that held pretty good and i couldn't get it to separate.

hahaha you will have to program that screen to pop up right before you cross the end of the 1/4 mile and do your best Paul Walker shut up and slam the laptop shut.
