Installing power windows
Alright so I have a base 88 GT as far as I know no power no sunroof. I'm wondering if I change out door pannels since mine are toast if the wireing is ran for the power windows down in there at all. If so is it possible to add in all the stuff easly without having to add to many brackets? I'm wondering about the wiring because I know my defrost is wired to the dash where the switch would be on the windsheild wiper switch I never have had a chance to see if wires are ran back at all for it I know that the slots are there for everything in the fuse pannel just not if any of them are actually wired in. Thanks.
Re: Installing power windows
I have done this to 3 Beretta's and sold the parts for another half dozen over the years.
Yes its a bolt in. Get a wiring harness from a 1988 Beretta and right and left regulators. If you get a harness from a 87 89 or 90 you may have to splice in the harness.
All work is done with carpet, seats and console out of car. The wiring goes under the seats to the door and not through dash. The plugs are all there. Replace any harness in the door or you splice the window portion.
Add then add relay fuse to the fuse panel.

Re: Installing power windows
I've helped to convert 2 Berettas to power windows in the last few years. The last time I think we got it done in about 4 hours total from dismantling to completely reassembled, which was cooking some serious ass - but that just illustrates how straight forward the swap is.

Nice thanks. When i replaced all my holding pins for the drivers door pannel I looked at everything that Erich had said before and it didn't look like it would be all that bad.
