1992 Quad GTZ For Sale

Post by dhenderz »

I may be crazy, but I've decided to list the GTZ for sale. Yes, the one I just spent 8 months restoring. You can follow the details on the resto in the thread (http://bstuff.com/index.php?showtopic=65803). I have receipts for over $5000 invested in this car. I have it listed on CL locally for $3500. If it sells, fine. If not, fine as well.

So for those of you who may have thought about picking up a Quad GTZ, here's your chance to have one that doesn't require anything but gas.

PM me if you have interest.

Hindsight of course is 20/20, but it might have been nice to offer up the car without all that yellow paint, or, to be painted the color of your choice.

But good luck with the California car. I love mine, and I'm actually not a Quad fan.

Eric - thanks. The decision to offer it for sale was a recent one (eg: post paint). I not selling it because I have to, just thought I would throw it out there. Clearly the paint color is a love it or hate it thing, doubt many will be neutral. For those who like a bold, bright color to highlight the looks of the GTZ the color is great. For those more aligned to dark or muted colors this clearly isn't your cup of tea. Kinda reminds me of the really bright green BMW M-series you occassionally see. For some they are the only color of choice for an M-series. For others, well, they wouldn't be caught dead in one that color.

As I mentioned in the OP, if it sells that's fine. If it doesn't that's fine too. I will just drive it while I contemplate the resto work on the CA car.
