Would this be the ultimate swap??
Re: Would this be the ultimate swap??
Lets get married and you can move here. You can have access to the new shop and access to all sorts of weird projects.weba wrote:Someone can donate one of those engines to me, and I'll promise to swap it in to my black car
SHO drive train swap would be cool too.. There is actually one(1) in this country...

Re: Would this be the ultimate swap??
I find it funny, people these days.
It seems about once every 6 months or so, someone will wander onto this site asking the question of whether or not a twin cam V6 will fit in a beretta. Every time, the same answers come out and the same thing gets discussed every time. If this was something anyone in the world had done, it would be easier to find on the net. Something, somewhere, would show up. But i digress, nothing.
Im still waiting for more people to ask if they can drop an Impala SS 5.3 in their beretta, that would be cool as hell! Although, the torque steer and chassis flex would prolly be outrageous!

It could be difficult to put that 5.3 torque down on Beretta chassis unless you do some wizardy to fit really wide tires on front...
I think Northstar (Aurora 4.0) would be better balanced and has enough power in stock form, if not, then get the bigger version.. I'd like to put the 4.0 to my white car if the quad dies someday.
And all these questions are useless anyways, since anything fits to anything, it's just the amount of work that changes.

Nothing wrong with dreaming. Lots of people have done really awesome stuff to Beretta chassis and had no reason to join this or any other site, or post it on the internet.

Your right Ace. That's what happens in this area. I have yet to find a good big port 3100 or just a 3400 for under 1K. Most say low miles are 70-80K and they want 700 bucks. It's screw you for your money here.DTMAce wrote:Sounds like someone was trying to swindle someone on that deal there MPB....
Must admit, that would be a badass engine. Of course there is a monster 3800 SC out there that a few members have done as well... lol

Someone should try a 3900 swap. I still want to do an sc ecotec swap, I think that would be pretty badass. Throw some Cobalt SS rims and SS supercharged badges on it too. Haha.

If you would go through all the trouble for a LSJ you might as well go for the LNF or B207R

I wish I could get my hands on the feretta so I could make a kit to put a northstar in one and make it rwd maybe posibly rig a nova rear end or even a little cosworth vega rear in one or just go all out an use an idependant rear from a vette and build some custom control arms and mount brackets to the body
