Whats the difference between 3.1 L injectors and 3100 injectors.

Can i use 3100 injectors in my 3.1 L without tuning and get any better performance?

has anyone tested this before...

Honestly, no you will not see any gains. Your still talking about injectors for a 3.1L motor. The only way you would see any kind of difference or gain is with 3400 injectors and a tune. And in all honesty, i do not feel the 3.1mpfi motors flow enough air stock to warrant larger injectors.

well somewhere i have 3400 injectors too and 3100 injectors. since i have them laying around and wont cost me nothing to try them just wondered if it would make any difference.

My throttle body is ported out with a larger throttle plate, and i just picked up a cold air filter system for 25 bucks, just got home its like 40 min away but took me over 3 hours snowing like heck and i dont want to bang my car up so i stayed under 50 k the whole way, going to throw that on tomorrow.

Just doing some small things that wont cost me a lot of money to see what i can do with it for now, im putting in factory 3.1 turbo engine prob mid summer after i rebuild it and get a new turbo. so all this right now is just for the heck of it and i have some parts laying around.

Is it possible to just throw in the 3400 injectors and not tune it ? will it run like crap or decent ?

I also think my car runs weird.... it likes to rev high.. it has good power in the upper rpms.. my engine is from a 91 cavy. i had 2 ecms. 1 from the cavy with 5 speed.. and 1 from a beretta 2.8 automatic.. i dont know what is what they both look the same and same numbers on them.. they both run, but only 1 works my cluster, so i guess its the beretta one that im running and its for a auto, and i have a standard. it doesnt have a rev limiter, i can bottom the tach out on the bottom of the cluster.

Not sure maybe its retarding my timing differently cuz it thinks its a automatic i dont know..... i have no clue when it comes to that stuff lol. i just know it runs and works and hauls @ss and never had problems with it running or anything.

I just got a app on my cell phone for 1/4 mile times 0-60. and a g force meter. i havent tryed the track time stuff but i did try the speedo part on my way home and it was dead on with my spedo so it seems pretty accurate, im going to try it out before and after i put this breather system on i just got. its a cheapy ebay one but looks half decent with a cone filter brand new, wouldnt fit the guys feiro, its for a cavy.

You can see in my little vid how it likes the high rpm lol. i thought your supposed to keep the tach in the red part HAHA. but if you watch the rpm it climbs the same speed all the way till i was shifting, ive pushed it further, i was just taking it easy... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iS119W6xxIM
