anyone in canada have a pontiac temprest /chevy corsica looking for the rear tail light that are orange and red and than white if u have them are know if someone does are if there any in a junk yard there let me know how much + shipping to the US

there was all kinds of these cars at the junk yard in the fall, i havent been there all winter and waiting till it warms up. is there not any corsica or tempest in the US ?

Tempest was Canada (and some overseas) only version of the Corsica, with Pontiac emblems. The tail light differs a bit from the Corsica, though if he wanted to, I think he could put Corsica tails on it... I actually saw another Tempest up in the Sault the other day. Bit rusted, but it was on the road.

parts would be cheap, shipping is the problem lol. wont be a while before i hit the junk yard but ill check back here to see if you found some already or not.

iirc the early Corsica tails were smooth with bowties on them and the Tempest were louvered and also available on later model Corsicas. both were solid red with a white reverse light and are interchangeable. The "Euro style" with the amber turn signals were only available in Europe hence the name "Euro style" I'm sure some of the European members here can help you locate a set, but keep in mind that they were only produced in limited numbers and shipping from Europe is going to be insane.
