i would, i really would do that, but the problem with that is, when you send $2,000 to someone, whats to say they don't cash that check and pocket the money??? or cash a money order and keep the money?? how do you not get screwed??

Well to not get screwed you'd have to know the person who you're dealing with I think. Good luck with your search, I think your best bet would be to wait for someone on here to sell theirs, no telling how long that would be tho. Do you still have your 94? If you do, why don't you just do work on that and make it what you want it to be? If I ever get the money, I'm gonna restore my 95 base and just do everything I want to it, thats why I still have it. You don't even have to do the work yourself if you have that kind of money to spend, just take it to a custom shop, and tell em' what you want. Big dreamin' I know, but just my opinion.

Thats the joy of trying to buy a car that you don't have the time to look at, let alone purchase properly to ensure you'll be happy with it.

Sorry but with your current work conditions I do not think its wise to try to search for a car if you don't have the time to search... It's just a waste of effort to try and get something hand delivered to you if your that leery at trusting anyone.

hence why delivery isnt an option, and picking it up is, i know where two gtz's sit, theres a white one down in washington nj, and theres a red gtz not to far from me that im going to check out sometime this week and maybe leave a note on the car...

Ok, then I see no point for this thread really... How many users on here are within 100 miles of you and are trying to sell their car?

I'm just a little confused on why you posted on here, got some replies of cars near other members and then shot it down... If your not willing to travel, or have it shipped then there really is no point at fishing on here.

replies??? no, i got one reply from sgr about one in Arizona wich is the wrong year. what dont you see about the topic? im looking for a beretta gtz, preferably a quad 4, years 91-93, i didnt say it had to be less then 100 miles, but im not driving half way across the country to get it either...
