Beretta Community IRC Live Chat Up & Running

Yes, there is an IRC chat room setup:


Newbs without an IRC, and with Firefox.... (www.getfirefox.com)

1. Click Tools>Addons and click "Get Addons"
2. Search for "Chatzilla"
3. Download and install the addon... (firefox restart necessary after installation)

After installing... do this:

1. Type irc://irc.efnet.org/beretta into address bar... (it takes about 10-20 seconds to connect to server)
2. To change your nickname, on bottom left screen, click where it says your name, and "change nickname"
3. To prevent yourself from typing the link everytime, drag the "#beretta" tab from Chatzilla onto your Firefox Favorites bar, and click whenever you wanna join. Simple.

If you don't have FireFox and don't want to download and use it, you can download mIRC (www.mirc.com) and setup the IRC chat that way.

And there you go. Right now theres a few of us in there. Hope to see you guys in there. If you enter and theres no one there, just bump this thread so others see it and voila!

Did you run the 11.5? or is that a historic time the car ran?

That chat channel was dead last night I stopped in for like 5 min testing IRC on my phone. it works. but no one was there taking.

its a historic time. i havent had it long enough and the weather hasnt been nice enough to click off any times yet. although that time was clicked off on street tires, i should have no problem matching it or better with the mickey dr's its got on it now. a full second is no laughing matter, especially when the car off the bottle is capable what your car is on the bottle.....for a third of what you spent ooooooo snap.

Also Cliff pointed out for anyone a really easy way to get in is go to http://www.efnet.org/ and under WEBCHAT LOGIN just type in the name you want to use and under CHANNEL type #beretta hit login and you are set!

Maybe we could set a couple times per week that people think they would be able to chat? Then we'd all know to look at those times for sure and whenever else we want to pop in.

Why do people think I have SO much money in my car... It's really not that much. My engine is made with all stock parts just the cam and springs are aftermarket. But yes 1 second is quite a bit... Just trying to joke about it.. and I can see I say one thing and you try to make it a bit more personal by bringing in cost... You haven't changed much have you. I'd also rather have a car thats a bit more unique than everything else out there. It's easy to make an F-body fast... Not so much with an L-body, And I can also say you bought your's even if it was less than I spent to BUILD mine...



BerettaMN and Weba are currently on... thats it...

What do you guys stick to late night to BS on there?
