I would be more than willing to go pick the unit up and ship it to you weba. Its about a 10 hour round trip, and only about 600 miles.

Let me know.

10 hours huh? First it must be confirmed that this indeed is 92+ car so it has the right mounts and that they still have it there, buried under snow?

Do you have facebook, aim or msn so we can discuss this in real time? :)

Dumb me... I couldn't remember which year they stopped putting the V6 in the Cavi.

Hope this works out for you Weba... Glad someone else chimed in local to lend a hand.

Chad91GTZ, Ok I'll wait for you to pop online, there might be slight timezone difference.

Im almost positive that not all Isuzu transmissions came with the exteranl slave cylinder maybe the berattas are a little different but on cavalier the isuzu i dont think ever came with a external slave. Take a photo of your so that we can all be sure, Mine has 140*** miles i do believe

:runsies: Bump. Since Chad91GTZ got hit by a truck(?) I am still looking for someone to pull\ship me the transmission and else.

Here is a link to Car-part.com listing for the correct transmissions

I am specifically interested about the 42,291k mile unit on Willie Mote Used Auto Parts, Inc. USA-IN(Burnettsville)
I also prefer to get axles, shifter, cables and transmission mounts.

I am going to pay for the hour, including driving time, and cover the fuel for the trip if someone can make this happen.

If someone can go and pull the parts, then they have to be shipped inland to one of the re-shippers i prefer, they will handle the sea cargo so it's piece of cake.

Finding these transmissions seems to be like searching for a unicorn...
91 "SS" - WOT 3400/5spd - 13.29@101.6 - World's fastest N/A FWD Beretta
96 "T56" LS/6spd/8.8 RWD swap - 13.45@104.7 lol

Weba, if my f23 swap goes through, I will have the trans you need. The case and mounts are good but you will need to swap better internals in it because mine has a bad bearing and a bad syncro. You can use internals from any getrag

Not really did you see the list he posted from car part... Granted not all are listed with low miles but there is a decent list there to choose from.

Weba, I just sent them a quote request to see what it would cost for that trans and other items you requested shipped to me, and then I could forward it to you...

Whats your limit here on price?

I'm also wondering if they even have the car left to pull axles and such from... it may just be the trans on a shelf somewhere.

I'll let you know what they say.

So do you just need to buy a case? Cause I have like 3 in my garage at least one is from a 92+ car, plus a few boxes full of their guts.
Nevermind - I have only quad 4 bellhousings.
