Computer Chip or ECM needed!!

Post by Wanako »

Anyone here have a working chip for a 89-90 2.8 v6 with Auto trans, Digi-dash, and no MAF? I want to do the Speed-Density upgrade. I've been looking for one, I've wanted to get the one on WOT-Tech but can't afford at the moment. Donations appreciated. No really, they would be greatly appreciated. :)
Tell me if you've got something. I really need one to get rid of this damn MAF. Another thing is that it's damn near impossible to find the air filter for an 87 so I want to convert over to a box style airbox. I've already got an airbox, I just need the chip to disable MAF. Thanks.

OOORRR, if someone would be kind enough to program a new chip for me, that'd be cool too.

Do you have the IAT sensor and harness to? And don't forget to pull the MAF relay after you remove it.

Sorry, but all my stuff is 5-speed.

Yea, I've got everything just about ready. The only thing I'm missing is the computer. Thanks anyway Cliff.

Nope, basically it has to be a '89 PROM.

Cavalier won't work.. It has the wrong VSS programming, nor will it provide the correct serial data to the gauge cluster

This is true. Either way, I think I may have this figured out. Thanks for the help guys. I got some help from Robert Saar on 60*V6. :good:

I've got a drop in k&n filter for my 88 GTU. If you want I can find you the part #. I picked it up at advance for under $40 iirc.
