Tiff, what do you know about the barge that crashed into the I-70 bridge during the high water?  I'm here in columbus so I haven't really heard much about it.  Just that they shut down that part of the road.

I'm pretty sure Tiff isn't responsible for that barge incident.  In fact, i'm betting that she's prolly on the cleanup crew, which is why we haven't heard from her in a day or two...

a fleet of 13 barges in total broke loose from the Cardinal Power Plant in Tiltonsville, Ohio... I think SOMEONES deckhand and or pilot isnt too swift.. but I wont go there.. Anywho, I think 4 or 6 made it through Pike Island locks and dam.. That barge that hit the bridge was a stumbo load.. that weighs about 15,500 tons.. so that could have very well taken out the bridge, but it just grazed it. If it would have hit head on, I am pretty sure all hell would have broken loose. The current was going at about 8-10 mph. The coast gaurd was called in to secure the barges.. but I dont know what they are doing letting the 6 or so sitting above Pike Island ALL SINK..   There were I believe 4 loads and 2 emptys up there and no one has touched them. And the water level is dropping quick and sucking them down even faster.. Thats gonna be a heck of a salvage bill for each of them barges.. I want to see what Memco's office is going to have to say to Cardinal Plant since they are liable for them barges while they are in thier harbor.. and barges are about 200-300 thousand dollars a pop..  exciting life by the Ohio River..

since I am too lazy to edit.. all 3 bridges were shut down. The 470, the suspension bridge and 70 bridge for I think about 5 hrs till they made sure the rest of the barges werent going to pass through the dam

I don't have a clutch problem, I just don't have a clutch. I do, however, have a 1,750.00 repair bill for my TH125 from 2 years ago.
You believe I bought this car and, of all things, it had a HITCH on it?

Depends on what they pulled with it.  If it was a lawn tractor then it wouldn't hurt anything.  Now, trying to pull a boat or something is a different story.

Well, being in Panama City, Florida and having the tranny rebuilt (TH125), with only 150k on it, I would say it was either a boat or a double-wide mobile home.

Jim, are you trying to tell us that there are mobile homes in Florida? you're kidding, right? I thought they were all banned in 1984....
