Re: looking for a 91-93 beretta gtz, my last attempt!
Why not look for an SS? They got the Z ground effects with a v6/5spd and FE8 suspension...

Strip the decals off the Z26.
Switch interior.
Switch to FE7 suspension.
Much cheaper than trying to find the perfect car you've been trying to find for how many years now?

problem with switching interiors is it isnt as easy as you think, the door mounted seatbelts have to be relocated to a new place, i managed to find a gtz, im probably going to buy it, it was a former members on here a looong time ago, and im sure as soon as i get it everyone will remember who's it was, the problem is, it needs an interior, i managed to find a nice gtz interior, but the guy wants $400 for the entire interior, maybe its me, idk, but i think thats an ass raping for an interior out of a beretta.

he also mentioned he would sell the entire car with a bill of sale for $1,500, problem with that is you cant title it in pa unless the origanal owner gets the title, also, he said it had a brand new engine but the timing guide broke..

Titling issues are a royal pain, and from what I understand, an even BIGGER pain in PA.
The interior swap isn't that big of a deal. All the mounting points are punched out already, you just have to relocate them and rivet them in. Not that hard... I'd rather do that work than have to deal with another possible bum motor... and who knows what the transmission is like.

the problem with relocating the seatbelts is that where 94 and newer are on the door the older cars that are on the pillar have a nut that is welded behind the metal for you to be able to fasten it in as im going through the trouble of puuting my 91+ Blk interior in my 94 z26 and thats the snag in it all

Mostly only the rubber is worn out, if the joints are still fine you just swap the seals from another car...I am using some Volvo seals on the endlinks of my black 1991! I am sure there are tons who would fit...and yeah, you'd probably find whole endlinks as well.Barry wrote:There has gotta be swaybar endlinks from anOther car that works for fe7. White Diamond could look killer on a GTZ.

Hah, White Diamond has been the premium color on a Cadillac for many years.. It is now just expanding to the other GM models, typically it's around $800-$1000 option when new.

Are you referring to the "Pearl White" Cadillac uses? Or is Diamond a color I'm unaware of?
Speedy, I hope this isn't the car with the title issue. Title issues can be hell in ANY state, as mentioned. Glad you found one at any rate. Can't wait to see it!
