The side Z door gfx looks like its set just a bit too far back... But it may also be exaggerated due to the color difference. I noticed when I did mine that I had to center it in the door because the GFX itself was not the exact length as the door was so I just left equal amounts of gap at either side. Once you do get it painted though, those gaps will pretty much vanish.

It's kinda hard to see in mine but you can somewhat tell I didn't align the rear of the GFX with the rear of the door.

I was actually quite impressed with how well I hung the GFX and didn't screw it up... LOL

Having a little extra room in front for the door to swing open isn't a bad thing though.

The way the door swings though it will never touch, its already recessed in that area.

When I started adding the door side skirt i thought they were the same size. But it turns out that the driver side is much smaller than the passanger side. I noticed this when they were bolted on. I think I have the brace behind it centered. so it will be possible to move it foward.I do think the diffrent color also makes it seem like there is a big gap.

Finally had some time to take out my GTU seats and clean the carpet really good. I also fixed my seat. The frame where you sit in was broken. I also found some good condition seats covers. my drivers side seat now looks good. a little faded but not torn. Last I somewhat fixed my door panels better.

I had a new muffler installed due to my muffler being rotted out. I went under and pulled back and forth and the muffler came off. It also had holes on the muffler pipe and fixed that as well. First I had installed my cherry bomb. I actually liked the sound. In the 3.1 it sounded farty but in the 2.8 it sounded great. But then I found a muffler at the junkyard. $12. It sounds way better than the cherry bomb. So what do you guys think off the muffler? Too ricey or OK?

doesn't look to bad. What you need is a Magnaflow or Flowmaster, son! Best Mufflers for a Gen-II motor, although, Magnaflow may be better since you said cops were putos in your area.

Start with Rock Auto. Sure glad that you took off the Cherry Bomb. I hate those things. Can be used on a newer car as a resonator, but never for a muffler. Too loud and the cops love them. They would pull you over and ask if you have cat on the car and friend that lets you pass without one.
I had a Flowmaster on my 3.1 90 GT and they would ask me about the cat every time. All I had to say is that it wasn't there when I bought it and they could do nothing. I always got mad because I paid good money for a Magnaflow cat and was doing the "right" thing. Just an ego boost for them.
Not to say that I wanted to do the right thing because it was the law. The engine/exhaust was tuned with that cat as part of the system in the first place. Pressure waves at the right time is a good thing.

hell of a job on the interior of the GTU and the engine bay!

Those damn console lids are such a pain in the behind, they always warp. I got very fortunate a found one on ebay from a member here.

My console lid may not be warped but my dash board and door panels are terrible. I am hoping to get lucky on a junkyard run and find some in good condition.

I do plan on adding a Flowmaster but since I do not really need one, I want to find some door panels or a dashboard.
