So the fenders are shot, quarter panel is rusting through, no brakes, and is missing parts and has an incomplete interior and needs paint, and it has rocker rot, which is a 1200 dollar repair no matter how sever it is, and yet you decide not to respond to what I feel was a serious offer. Not trying to be a jack but GLWS I guess.

Nice language there "bro" . You didn't read it correctly as it's basically just to gain interest and if someone is serious and makes an offer privately (through PM)that I am satisfied with then I would let it go to that person.

In my selling ads, all money offers are to be kept private as anything with the exchange of money is mine and/or the buyers private right.

Going back to what Stylus said, auction style for sale threads aren't really looked on highly. You completely ignored my offer, which is your right of course I suppose.

I agree that I should have just put in "make an offer privately", however, I did not because I didn't think to type that. Do you ever stop to think that sometimes the verbiage could have been better and to just ignore it instead of trying to hold an off topic argument? This could have been all avoided if you just PM'd me like some have. Those that contacted were not offended when turned down on there trades/offer, but you seem to be holding a grudge for some reason. Is it because you just want stuff cheap in life from nitpicking things apart? Do you think I care if you are typing with anger? I've cut up and brought back to life many L's bodies. Before I go and put time into this Beretta I was just looking to see if someone else out there had the same interest.

In the end, if I want this car gone, I'll repair the car, make it a daily driver and sell it to some one looking to have transportation. I'm sure many on this board understand the situation and go through this a lot more than I do. I give credit to those people.

Not angry, waited 2 days for you to even acknowledge my post, while you answered other peoples replies.

I don't think 600 dollars was "cheap", and I don't think I haven't cut up a few L's over the years. If my offer offended you, then I apologize. But if you want to get what I think you want, good luck. And I don't mean that sarcastically. I'd like to see this car repaired.

These cars are only worth good money in excellent shape and then its only to a select crowd. The car given the description and issues and the sole picture isnt worth much. I bet a scrap yard wouldnt pay more than $200 for it- if even that. Since Im sure nobody calls looking for Beretta parts.

Old car, not a classic, not a collectible. These are amde to drive, enjoy, then throw away.

I'm not here to razz the guy. He's a collector, and I just decided its worth more in current condition to him than me, given what I've paid for nicer cars I can't justify the cost. And that's fine.

Please let it be known that this is a for sale forum, not a place to attempt to start a bidding war and "gauging interest" posts are typically frowned upon on this board. As you can see, they lead to nothing but trouble.

In the future, please post an asking price in a for sale thread. You are of course then welcome to add "or best offer" to the listing.

There is always sufficient interest in the purchase of a Beretta here, we're a Beretta board!
Besides, if you want real money for your car, don't sell it here! You'll get much more from a Craig's List ad where people don't understand that the nicest Beretta in the world is barely worth $2000...
