Not trying to be a jack but GLWS I guess.
As for your offer, if I don't respond with a PM in a couple days you will need to PM me.
"PM me any questions/inquiries related to this thread. Keep any off topic/unrelated discussions and such out of this thread."
I read your post. You obviously read my post. Why should I PM you? As far as my "reading abilities", how the hell is my offer to buy an off topic discussion? If you're gauging interest, I showed some. If you wanna sell the car, sell the car. If not, piss off. Being a jackass won't help. Sorry bro.

Nice language there "bro" . You didn't read it correctly as it's basically just to gain interest and if someone is serious and makes an offer privately (through PM)that I am satisfied with then I would let it go to that person.
In my selling ads, all money offers are to be kept private as anything with the exchange of money is mine and/or the buyers private right.

Then why don't you say "make an offer privately" rather than being so nebulous? I'm not some douche 16 year old kid who reads the forum in between shifts at McDonalds.
Going back to what Stylus said, auction style for sale threads aren't really looked on highly. You completely ignored my offer, which is your right of course I suppose.
You calling out my "language" use is also hilarious, dawg... Thanks for your time, and again GLWS, or no sale, as seems to be your actual intention.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
I agree that I should have just put in "make an offer privately", however, I did not because I didn't think to type that. Do you ever stop to think that sometimes the verbiage could have been better and to just ignore it instead of trying to hold an off topic argument? This could have been all avoided if you just PM'd me like some have. Those that contacted were not offended when turned down on there trades/offer, but you seem to be holding a grudge for some reason. Is it because you just want stuff cheap in life from nitpicking things apart? Do you think I care if you are typing with anger? I've cut up and brought back to life many L's bodies. Before I go and put time into this Beretta I was just looking to see if someone else out there had the same interest.
In the end, if I want this car gone, I'll repair the car, make it a daily driver and sell it to some one looking to have transportation. I'm sure many on this board understand the situation and go through this a lot more than I do. I give credit to those people.

Not angry, waited 2 days for you to even acknowledge my post, while you answered other peoples replies.
I don't think 600 dollars was "cheap", and I don't think I haven't cut up a few L's over the years. If my offer offended you, then I apologize. But if you want to get what I think you want, good luck. And I don't mean that sarcastically. I'd like to see this car repaired.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
Is this car for sale or discussion?
If its for sale PM me a price. If you think you are sitting on a gold mine then you can keep dreaming. These guys here want that front lip which is probably 99% of the value of the car anyhow.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
I wanted more than the lip, but we couldn't get together on a price. Im just glad he's not gonna crush the car if it doesn't sell.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
Ouch he wouldnt budge on $600? lol
I was going to offer him $300 and thats being generous I thought.
Never mind.
These cars are only worth good money in excellent shape and then its only to a select crowd. The car given the description and issues and the sole picture isnt worth much. I bet a scrap yard wouldnt pay more than $200 for it- if even that. Since Im sure nobody calls looking for Beretta parts.
Old car, not a classic, not a collectible. These are amde to drive, enjoy, then throw away.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
I'm not here to razz the guy. He's a collector, and I just decided its worth more in current condition to him than me, given what I've paid for nicer cars I can't justify the cost. And that's fine.

Re: GI: Beretta GTU
1988GTU,
Please let it be known that this is a for sale forum, not a place to attempt to start a bidding war and "gauging interest" posts are typically frowned upon on this board. As you can see, they lead to nothing but trouble.
In the future, please post an asking price in a for sale thread. You are of course then welcome to add "or best offer" to the listing.
There is always sufficient interest in the purchase of a Beretta here, we're a Beretta board!
Besides, if you want real money for your car, don't sell it here! You'll get much more from a Craig's List ad where people don't understand that the nicest Beretta in the world is barely worth $2000...
