Trailblazer Injector Info
I guess you guys are benefiting from this process more than I am.
I bought a new set of injectors recently for my car from e-bay and obviously not knowing the history of them I send them off to South Bay Injector service just to be sure they were up to par... I also asked them to flow them at 3 various pressures.
My results are as follows.
Injector ---1------2------3------4------5-------6
Spray ----10-----10-----10----10------9------9
Flow -----260---258----258---260---260----258
After cleaning
Injector ---1------2------3------4------5-------6
Spray ----10-----10-----10----10-----10-----10
Flow -----260---260----260---260---260----260
Now I had them test the flow at 55PSI and 63 PSI...
55 was 300cc/min
63 was 320cc/min
So these injectors at 43psi are equal to around a 24lb injector, at 55psi they are a 28lb injector and at 63psi they are a 30lb injector.
These are injector number 25358575, they have the same ACDelco replacement number as the set currently on my car and those are PN 25313185 so its safe to assume whats on my car should flow the same as what I have in the box. There is one more set of Trailblazer injectors that were on the 05's those are PN 25345324, and they have a different ACDelco equivalent so they may be a different flow or spray pattern, I'm not sure. So really, $94 later I got a flow test chart and some new o-rings and a tiny bit of cleaning/balancing... I guess it's worth it in the end to know they are good to go.
