hey mikey morris, you might know this... the 'rubber' molding that follows the window from top (handle side) curving down towards the mirror, has a few groves in it, covers metal. is there replaceable rubber? or the complete metal strip needs to be replaced? would you have any kicking around? my drivers side has peeled off, and last owner trimmed it up... missing 3" now...

What about the piece on the bottom. The part that seals the window? Can these be had?

There is no replaceable rubber, you have to find the whole thing used. It's hard to find good ones that haven't shrunk or peeled and they are difficult to ship.

Only used and they are usually all dried out, if they aren't cracked yet, they will be!

Both of you guys should post separate want ads instead of asking for parts in here.

they would be a fairly large box to ship... how much would you want for them? i would probably eventually find them around my area (or could have pulled off of the parts car that i scrapped a year ago! damn it)

what part are you looking for ?? i have like 3 sets of the pieces that go on the outside edge of the windshield.
I have a set of the ones on the top of the door, plus a set on a set of doors.

I have good dew strips but not parting with them, still looking for extra i can sell..

I just bought two brand new one's from GM's vintage parts, paid a ton for them. They had one rt and one lt in their database so I figured I better snag them. I was at a local U-Pull it today. People who do not know how to work on vehicles should not be allowed in those places. Every door panel I found was ruined by someone not knowing what they were doing when they tried to remove the panel. Pretty irritating. I did find a mint dash in an '89 GT. Got lucky there.
