What the heck are you doing awake '88GTU?
I had the Z34 hood vents on yrs ago...till an unfortunate incident the hood went bye-bye, I figured why can't I suffer a wittle bit more...put em on again.
I wish I have enough time to make an aerodynamic plate underneath the car to make this an extreme function during highway speeds...well I guess we will see (meaning I probably won't do squat )
Newayz thanks...n go to sleep

I work midnights, and I have the next few weeks off. So in the mean time with all this 'free' time, I am going to try and hook up my turbocharger. I just need a few pointers still (That's in the Other Tech Questions forum) .
Z34 hood vents are something I always wanted, but I started to think about it.... Nahhh I'm fine with my turbo project.
That plate will not only be a wind cutter, it'll be a skid plate for when you take them high spots in the road.

Looks great.  I do have some reservation of the injectors and fuel lines within inches of the exhuast side of the turbo.  I hope you don't plan on running that turbo until it's cherry red or about 1400F because even with heat shields the fuel line operating range is just under 500F.
A better option depending on how flexable the line is would be to route it infront of the intake.  It would also put the injectors(remember these are plastic) towards the front of the car where it would get some fresh air.  When the hood is close it is going to push those gasoline lines closer to the turbo.
Or else you'll be doing this project again. ÂÂÂ
Keep up the good work and remember to carry a fire extinguisher!
