I'll get one. It's way too far forward IMO. Balancer is 3.5 inches from lower rad support. But that's what I had to do to use stock steering

Not at all. But it's best from a handling standpoint to have the majority of mass between the front and back axle.

More more grip you have the better for drift surprisingly

Finished both motor mounts and the tranny crossmember. The engine is finally in the bay with no jacks or hoists holding it up. Feels good. Ill get pics soon.

Thanks! Never knew that. I figured weight forward and little rear grip was best, but makes sense that you would want it balanced.

There is quite a bit of rocker rust on that car IIRC, so its not a perfect shell, he will have to do many mods to keep it running let alone move to RWD so I wouldn't say it's destroying. He either does this or it gets sold off to someone who beats it into the ground or it rots away... Which do you think is better.

And that's a shitty leaf blower... its friken electric...
LMAO
I think its a GREAT idea! Dang Burritos shoulda been RWD from the start.

Pucks. If I come across a set of poly 240 mounts I'll bolt them in. Pucks are so damn harsh

Any plans to use some sort of offset cross brace from mount to mount under the subframe? Seems like those studs may rip the frame when the engine rocks.

nevermind that, I'd be more afraid of the tail shaft ripping the floor pan up as it rocks up front... There is no structure to what he bolted that to... Also you didn't center the engine on purpose correct?

Yes actually, pretty much exactly that. Along with another one right behind the oil pan between the subframes
