Just pulled apart a sensor from a 2009 malibu; 47 teeth as well. I had a chevy truck the other day with 52 teeth. So maybe depending on the Mfg. they use set numbers. Then I pulled one apart on a impala... 47 teeth.

I did, but it was misleading; scberetta3800. When I first got my car I thought I could get my hands on a 3.8 sc from a Grand prix i knew of but it never materialized.
I know... newbie, I was.

I prepped it... and that is as far as I got. a guy I knew needed a car so I sold him the GP, after it sat waiting for me to attend to it, And told him that I would catch up with him with a fender flare matched to the car. he wasn't worried about it. so now it sits in my garage. =(
