Z04 foglight/parking light insert bumper sections

Looking for those sections of a z04 bumper, preferably off of a trashed z04 bumper. Would like to mold them into my gtu's base style bumper. Maybe someone has a bumper they wouldn't mind cutting up?

I will have to see if I can find the old bumper though, its out back. But I think the openings were intact.

DTMAce, let me know if you can figure that out pretty soon. Definitely interested, want to get this bumper mod done and painted up soon.

How would you guys recommend doing this? I was thinking bondoing the inserts to my bumper, heavilly on the back, and on the front but then sanding the front down to make it smooth.

Yeah, I will go dig it out of the 1ft plus snowbank and see what shape its in. Try to do that tomorrow for you, get you some pics.

There are shots of it before it came off the car in the Z project thread below in my signature. Pretty sure it should be in the same condition.

Looks good to me Ace, I'll take them whenever you're ready. I guess maybe cut out the general area a bit like that fellow above me did in his mod? That should give me a good amount of excess to work with. Thanks again.

Ok is there anyone else that may have a trashed z bumper that wouldnt mind doing this for me? Dtmace seems to be ignoring me and the 3 messages I've sent over the past 2 weeks, I'm at the point where I need these inserts now, I'm ready to do the work on the bumper.

Just been busy as hell. Didn't realize it was that pressing I suppose. My mistake. Now that the snowbank has melted where its located, I should be able to get to it now. lol

I cut those out today, but I don't know.... I have to get you a pic of them, see what you think. Most of the plastic in this bumper cover has.. separated and/or gotten soft. Might be ok for the sections, but any of the lower edges are coming apart in layers. Plus it was a bit squashed from being under snow.

Will post them up later today, watching NASCAR right now.. LOL
