need an engine... a quad four engine.. *sigh*

my oil pump went on my way to the mechanic and the bottom end of my beautiful GTZ's engine is shot.. anybody have a suitable replacement for this engine? I'd like a w41 engine to upgrade it but I'm open to ideas, plus if anyone local wants to help me put this engine in once I get it.. it would help me a lot.. Very depressed..

How long did you drive without oil pressure? I've seen the pump go out couple times, with no damage to engine if stopped soon after.

if you need another hand i'll lend mine. unfortunately i don't know of anyone with a bottom end.

Yeah it's going to be tough. It was driven for a day or two, I had no clue what the noise was that's why I was taking it to a mechanic when it blew.
