What all fees do we have after registration and hotel? Anything hidden out there? Getting my budget together today. Trying to make a list: Registration, hotel, gas, and food is all I can think of. Any help would be appreciated.

There are no hidden fee's... it costs whatever else you decide to do. When you register you pay for the picnic then, after that all you have to worry about is your own food for the weekend, as well as if you want to participate in any of the evening activities such as the park listed for Thursday night.

The only other thing I'm not 100% on is there may be a $5-10 park fee... but I don't remember hearing that in planning but definately be prepared if they charge us.

From what I can gather on their website and posted in the racing section, its $10 for the one night to race.

Update:

Hotel registration cutoff has been extended to May 30. (they gave us an extra 5 days) At MIDNIGHT on May 30th, the rooms are officially released! SO GET YOUR RESERVATIONS IN GUYS AND GALS!!! DON'T SCREW AROUND! lol They still had as of earlier today 22 rooms available.

For those that were asking about getting in on Wednesday and getting the group rate. This is not possible. I did ask my contact at the hotel, and there is no way they can let us have the rooms early, or for that rate. But she did extend the cutoff date as a compromise.

Those that were trying to get the lower rate, either bunk up with mates for that night to lower individual pocket costs, or find another local place to stay. I can research some if you all need me to.

I feel bad, as this is something that I/we should have foreseen, and neither I nor anyone else thought to say something about it beforehand. OH well, lets work with it and make the best of it ok?

Let me know if you have other concerns/questions.

Speaking for myself I didn't think to mention it because it has been common for the past 7 years for at least a handful of people to come in early, and I believe getting the extra day or two hasn't been a problem because it is usually mid-week, but as you can see here, every hotel is different.

Based on the extension from the hotel, registration for BerettaFest will also be extended until 10pm CST on Tuesday May 29th!

Get those registrations in folks, it is much easier than trying to piece together a room with no discount!!
