I would try contacting the member wicked-irocz if you want a performance one.

Re: 3400 dwn pipe
That's the only type of 3400 downpipe that exists for our cars since any one home made is a performance increase over what existed for the 3400 Grand Am which doesn't fit our car.Z26_T wrote:I would try contacting the member wicked-irocz if you want a performance one.

Srry should of been more clear I'm doing a 3400 swap to a 96 z26 an I need a down pipe made so I don't have to buy a 3100 manifold an dwn pipe
Re: 3400 dwn pipe
I still think you have the correct answer.... Custom made, or stay with the restricted 3100 downpipe.

Why not reuse your old manifolds/exhaust setup? Don't have to buy anything that way...

Yeah... x2heavywoody wrote:Why not reuse your old manifolds/exhaust setup? Don't have to buy anything that way...
If your putting a 3400 in a 96 Z26 your manifolds are already 3100 ones and they bolt right up without any issues at all.
Its only if you want to upgrade the manifold to a 3400 tubular one that was on the Grand Am's and such but then you would have to BUY a downpipe from Wicked IROC or make your own, that's all that exits out there. I've said this multiple times in other down pipe threads, Wicked is the only one who's ever offered to make down pipes for anyone.
